Italian Christmas Cookies

You will need:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 cup milk
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Sprinkles for decoration
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Dip each cookie top in glaze, then add sprinkles.
